The Taversoe – Covid-19 Procedures

We worked hard to interpret and follow the Scottish Government guidelines regarding Covid-19 throughout the pandemic. Procedures were implemented to ensure your safety, the safety of our staff, and the safety of the residents of Rousay.

Many remain as standard practice at The Taversoe.

In the Restaurant and Bar:

Contactless payment would be much appreciated.

Within The Taversoe we kindly ask that you respect the personal space of

others and use the hand sanitiser provided as you enter and leave the premises.

In the Resident’s Accommodation:

Staff will enter guest bedrooms to empty your bins and top up your tea/coffee tray only.

Should your stay with us be over three nights will be enter to change your linens and refresh your towels.

If you do not require this service please advise us.

Please report to the staff should you require any additional items or have any maintenance issues.

Please wash your hands frequently and use the hand sanitisers provided around the premises.

The Guest's Lounge is currently still not be available for use.

Should you develop symptoms of Covid-19 during your stay at The Taversoe:

We can no longer ask you to remain in self-isolation but we would ask that you respect our staff and other guests.

Please inform the staff so we can best protect everyone.

 We would kindly request you keep your movements in the public areas as limited

as possible and wear a facemask whilst you move around within the premises.

Facemasks are available free of charge should you require them.

On departure please open your window to help ventilate the room.
